Mazzei.-<\/strong> En el mes de abril nuestra realidad familiar, social, laboral y educativa se modific\u00f3 por completo y no sabemos c\u00f3mo ser\u00e1 en el futuro, si habr\u00e1 vacuna, si volver\u00e1n los chicos a las aulas, si el home office lleg\u00f3 para quedarse. Estos interrogantes son comunes a casi todas las familias.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

No tenemos respuestas y esto nos provoca incertidumbre y miedo al futuro. Pero debemos reconocer que necesit\u00e1bamos frenar y analizar nuestro presente. Por ello, la cuarentena podr\u00eda ser un momento propicio para ayudarnos a revalorizar los v\u00ednculos y las funciones de la familia como educadora y socializadora primigenia de la persona.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La sociedad empuja al hombre al individualismo, al ego\u00edsmo y la b\u00fasqueda el placer desenfrenado, provocando en su interior un increencia que profundiza la soledad, y la imposibilidad de desarrollar valores trascendentes (Ospina, 2010). Frente a esto la familia debe plantearse nuevas metas para educar personas aut\u00f3nomas, independientes y sociables capaces de mejorar el entorno en el que viven.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El ser humano necesita de otros para crecer, sin los cuidados de la familia no sobrevive. Necesita, no s\u00f3lo como comida y vestido, sino tambi\u00e9n el afecto, el amor y la educaci\u00f3n que recibe en la familia. En ella, la persona aprende a ser con otros y descubre su propia identidad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Los v\u00ednculos familiares son la escuela de la vida. All\u00ed se aprende de las relaciones entre sus miembros y del entrelazamiento de esas relaciones. D\u00eda a d\u00eda, padres e hijos, aprenden unos de otros y se educan durante tanto tiempo como sus miembros permanezcan en ella. Y, aunque en ella aprenden unos de otros, son las generaciones adultas las que deben acompa\u00f1ar a las m\u00e1s j\u00f3venes en lograr su pleno desarrollo (Altarejos, Rodr\u00edguez, & Bernal, 2005).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Como en otros \u00f3rdenes de la vida, los resultados de la educaci\u00f3n familiar dependen de la planificaci\u00f3n y los objetivos que se propongan de acuerdo a la realidad propia de sus miembros. Seg\u00fan Aurora Bernal, la educaci\u00f3n dentro de la familia deber\u00eda ense\u00f1ar a conducir la libertad, mediante el control de las emociones, el servicio a los otros y donde se aprende a ser mejor. All\u00ed tambi\u00e9n se descubre la identidad personal, en la profunda experiencia de saberse amado de manera incondicional, donde se aceptan y respetan las diferencias y lo que cada uno puede aportar a la sociedad peque\u00f1a que es la familia. Por \u00faltimo, en la familia se aprende a ser en sociedad (Bernal, 2005)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La familia de hoy debe proveer al hombre herramientas que le permitan ser en el mundo sin ser arrastrado por modas o ideolog\u00edas que lo aparten de su individualidad. Promover la capacidad de amar como un valor insustituible e imprescindible para donarse. Promoviendo el desarrollo de la libertad como capacidad de hacer lo que se debe con convicci\u00f3n. Fomentar en todos, la posibilidad de dar al mundo lo mejor de s\u00ed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Por todo esto, la cuarentena, es una oportunidad propicia para preguntarnos, c\u00f3mo estamos educando a nuestros hijos, qu\u00e9 personas queremos que sean para el mundo que viene y proponer los cambios necesarios para lograr estos objetivos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
