Se cumpli\u00f3 un nuevo aniversario en recordaci\u00f3n del <i>D\u00eda del Veterano y de los ca\u00eddos en la guerra de Malvinas<\/i> de 1982, que llev\u00f3 delante de manera unilateral el entonces presidente militar Galtieri, dejando secuelas todav\u00eda despu\u00e9s de 32 a\u00f1os.<\/p>\n<p>No hay que olvidarse el contexto: era el final de la dictadura militar que hab\u00eda hecho desastres en materia de derechos humanos, en la econom\u00eda nacional, con inversiones fara\u00f3nicas como la construcci\u00f3n de los estadios para el Mundial 78 y como <i>manotazo<\/i> de ahogado no tuvieron mejor idea que conquistar las islas Malvinas a trav\u00e9s de la invasi\u00f3n y no por la v\u00eda diplom\u00e1tica.<\/p>\n<p>Pero el enfrentamiento fue con Inglaterra, una de las potencias mundiales en flota mercante y contando como aliado al imperialismo de los Estados Unidos, de eso no hay que olvidarse para saber qui\u00e9n es cada uno en el concierto internacional.<\/p>\n<p>Lo tragic\u00f3mico fue que durante varios d\u00edas la guerra la ganaba Argentina seg\u00fan la informaci\u00f3n del gobierno militar y de la noche a la ma\u00f1ana se rindieron las tropas argentinas el 15 de julio de ese a\u00f1o.<\/p>\n<p>Quien puede negar que las Islas Malvinas y los dem\u00e1s archipi\u00e9lagos del Sur deber\u00edan estar bajo territorio argentino por presencia hist\u00f3rica desde el siglo XIX hasta nuestros d\u00edas. En 1820 hab\u00edan pasado a la soberan\u00eda argentina y en 1833 fueron ocupadas por las tropas brit\u00e1nicas. A pesar de los constantes reclamos argentinos, continu\u00f3 en calidad de colonia imperial. En 1981 la asamblea legislativa de las Malvinas vot\u00f3 a favor de la continuidad de la soberan\u00eda brit\u00e1nica.<\/p>\n<p>No hay que olvidar que varios gobiernos del Reino Unido se encargaron de dominar a las islas, designando un gobernador y generando una cultura inglesa en ese lugar. Claro hay intereses geopol\u00edticos con la instalaci\u00f3n de una base militar para un eventual conflicto mundial y, al mismo tiempo, hay riquezas econ\u00f3micas especialmente por ser una zona pesquera de importancia regional.<\/p>\n<p>Los reclamos se deben hacer por la v\u00eda diplom\u00e1tica y no llev\u00e1ndose al mundo por delante. A pesar de las negociaciones de los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os, hasta el presente se ha logrado poco y nada. Habr\u00eda que buscar mecanismos legales para compartir la soberan\u00eda, por lo menos as\u00ed reconocer que Argentina tambi\u00e9n tiene derechos en las Malvinas. Adem\u00e1s, hay que tener una pol\u00edtica de reinserci\u00f3n social de los sobrevivientes porque le quedaron problemas sicol\u00f3gicos y no pocos se suicidaron.<\/p>\n<p>La recuperaci\u00f3n de las Malvinas es un objetivo permanente. Se lograr\u00e1 si respetamos tambi\u00e9n a los malvinenses y a las opiniones diversas sobre este tema conflictivo.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Por Emilio Grande (h.).
