Parece mentira, pero apareci\u00f3 una luz en medio de tanta confusi\u00f3n en el f\u00fatbol argentino. El anteproyecto del torneo de primera divisi\u00f3n con 38 equipos dur\u00f3 una semana y los torneos quedaron tal como estaban. Con promedios y promociones. Con 20 equipos en primera y otros tantos en la B Nacional. Quien firm\u00f3 el certificado de defunci\u00f3n de la iniciativa fue el presidente de la AFA, Julio Grondona: \u00abVan a tener que ser los clubes, fundamentalmente los de primera, los que decidan si se hace algo o no; esto es as\u00ed\u00bb, se\u00f1al\u00f3.<br \/>\n\u00abYo no voy a pedir la reuni\u00f3n en octubre o noviembre, queda en manos de los clubes. No tengo ning\u00fan inter\u00e9s en modificar nada\u00bb, agreg\u00f3. Era el mismo que, ante los rumores que arreciaban sobre el congelamiento del megatorneo hab\u00eda dicho: \u00abNi loco doy marcha atr\u00e1s\u00bb.<br \/>\n\u00bfQu\u00e9 pas\u00f3 en el medio? \u00bfQu\u00e9 oblig\u00f3 a la AFA a condenar al ostracismo a un proyecto que la propia entidad hab\u00eda impulsado con el aval del Gobierno? \u00abNo tengo idea de qu\u00e9 se trata el convenio, ni el nuevo campeonato, ni qu\u00e9 es lo que se est\u00e1 discutiendo sobre ese tema\u00bb, se despeg\u00f3 el jefe de Gabinete -y responsable del F\u00fatbol para Todos-, An\u00edbal Fern\u00e1ndez.<br \/>\nEn este programa radial del s\u00e1bado \u00faltimo fue entrevistado el presidente del club Atl\u00e9tico Ricardo Tettamanti, quien dijo que es un bochorno y pregunt\u00f3 en voz alta: \u00bfde qu\u00e9 sirvi\u00f3 el logro deportivo que con gran esfuerzo hizo Atl\u00e9tico en el \u00faltimo torneo?<br \/>\nLo que m\u00e1s molest\u00f3 a Grondona fue la \u00abpolitizaci\u00f3n\u00bb del tema. Desde la AFA volvieron a insistir con que la Casa Rosada \u00abno tiene nada que ver\u00bb con el proyecto.<br \/>\nQuienes m\u00e1s cerca est\u00e1n de Grondona se\u00f1alan, fuera de micr\u00f3fono, que el jefe de la AFA \u00abest\u00e1 abatido\u00bb. Lo subrayan tras lo que denominan \u00abcampa\u00f1a de desprestigio\u00bb en su contra, encabezada por el empresario mendocino Daniel Vila.<br \/>\nGrondona sab\u00eda que el anteproyecto deb\u00eda tener el 80% de los votos de la Asamblea para ser aprobado. Cerca suyo habr\u00edan hecho un sondeo entre algunos de los 49 hombres habilitados para votar. Los resultados no fueron alentadores: el presidente de la AFA sab\u00eda que ten\u00eda, al menos, 10 votos en contra. Y que el megatorneo se hund\u00eda.<br \/>\nA decir verdad, para la confecci\u00f3n de este proyecto influy\u00f3 el descenso de River, si no pasaba eso ni se hablaba del mismo.<br \/>\nAcorralado Grondona congel\u00f3 los cambios hasta que los clubes los reclamen. Quiz\u00e1s haya sido su primera derrota en casi 32 a\u00f1os de mandato. Tambi\u00e9n esta semana los hinchas se movilizaron hasta la AFA para pedir su renuncia frente a tanta desidia institucional, manejos oscuros, denuncias por corrupci\u00f3n, pocos logros deportivos a nivel internacional que qued\u00f3 plasmado en el Mundial de Sud\u00e1frica y en la reciente Copa Am\u00e9rica en Argentina.
