Por Leonardo J. Glikin<\/a>.-<\/strong> Cuando trabajamos los valores de la empresa familiar, la palabra \u201crespeto\u201d aparece muy frecuentemente.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Puede referirse, a veces,  al trato respetuoso entre las personas que componen la empresa y la familia; otras veces, se refiere a la consideraci\u00f3n particular que merecen las generaciones mayores; en otros casos, el eje central est\u00e1 en el compromiso de todos de hacer lugar a diferentes ideas, aunque no sean coincidentes con las propias.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00bfPor qu\u00e9 el respeto ocupa un espacio tan significativo en las empresas familiares?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Como dice Carlos Dumois  (\u201cel respeto en la empresa familiar\u201d https:\/\/www.noroeste.com.mx\/colaboraciones\/el-respeto-en-la-empresa-familiar-FE1897676<\/a>) el respeto \u201cconsiste en valorar a los dem\u00e1s, considerar y reconocer la dignidad de cada persona como tal. Respetar es tomar en cuenta al otro y no pretender anular o pisotear sus derechos\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Y agrega: \u201cel respeto es la base fundamental de la convivencia. Les corresponde a los l\u00edderes crear una cultura de respeto en la empresa y en la familia\u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00bfPuede ocurrir que el respeto no sea un valor consensuado por la familia empresaria?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nos ha ocurrido tener que intervenir en situaciones familiares donde la violencia verbal, y hasta f\u00edsica, es una posibilidad latente, y a veces, m\u00e1s grave aun, es una constante.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Generalmente, se trata de organizaciones en las que lo importante es \u201ctener raz\u00f3n\u201d, pero, la pregunta es: \u00bfqui\u00e9n decide que alguien tiene raz\u00f3n? Entonces, r\u00e1pidamente, se evoluciona desde el eje de \u201ctener raz\u00f3n\u201d al eje de tener el poder, que termina siendo la fuente (desde ya, falsa) de la raz\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cuando las malas pr\u00e1cticas est\u00e1n muy establecidas resulta dif\u00edcil sobreponerse a ellas. A la corta o a la larga, quien ejerce el poder se va a sentir cuestionado, y frente al riesgo de perder el poder, va a terminar despidiendo a los profesionales involucrados en tratar de modificar la situaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hay, muchas veces, una \u201cmatriz del maltrato\u201d, que lleva a que los protagonistas de una empresa y\/o una familia en particular crean que esa es la \u00fanica manera posible de relacionarse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

\u00bfCu\u00e1les son las consecuencias de la p\u00e9rdida del respeto?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

La p\u00e9rdida del respeto lleva, inexorablemente, a situaciones de maltrato, y, en muchos casos, a situaciones de violencia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El malestar que se instala en las comunidades donde el respeto no ocupa un lugar de privilegio se expande como una mancha de aceite en el agua, hasta que, en alg\u00fan momento, se produce una crisis expulsiva: alguien se va del sistema, porque decide priorizar su dignidad y su calidad de vida frente al maltrato.  O no\u2026o la mancha de aceite se sigue expandiendo, indefinidamente, y el conjunto se adapta indefinidamente a la falta de respeto como norma.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00bfSe puede reinstaurar el respeto?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Es necesario que cada cual sea capaz de priorizar su dignidad, y la dignidad de quienes lo rodean, frente a la tentaci\u00f3n de someterse a un l\u00edder maltratador.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Para que ello sea posible, los principios deben ser m\u00e1s importantes que cualquier beneficio secundario. Algo as\u00ed  como sobreponerse al sopor que genera la repetici\u00f3n del statu quo, para generar una forma de relaci\u00f3n diferente y m\u00e1s equilibrada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Es muy dif\u00edcil que el maltratador, el irrespetuoso, el violento, sea consciente de sus conductas y de lo que ellas generan en los dem\u00e1s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Por lo tanto, quienes son v\u00edctimas de esas conductas deben tener la valent\u00eda de poner un l\u00edmite, lo que implica, a veces, renunciar a  una \u201czona de confort\u201d, si entendemos por \u201cconfort\u201d el dejarse maltratar para obtener beneficios colaterales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Valent\u00eda, dignidad, auto-estima, deseo de libertad y de igualdad, auto-confianza, capacidad de poner l\u00edmites, son los rasgos necesarios para que las situaciones de falta de respeto no se perpet\u00faen a lo largo del tiempo.<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

No olvidemos que las j\u00f3venes generaciones nos est\u00e1n mirando.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Que nunca nos echen en cara: \u00bfpor qu\u00e9 te sometiste, pap\u00e1? \u00bfpor qu\u00e9 te resignaste, mam\u00e1?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
