Se recomienda ir al apiario entre las 7 y las 10 de la ma\u00f1ana. Por la tarde, despu\u00e9s de las 17.<br>* Llevar al campo al menos 3 litros de agua por persona. Si es posible mantener refrigerada y trabajar bien hidratados. No esperar a tener sed para tomar agua.<br>* Cada vez que finaliza una visita al apiario tener especial atenci\u00f3n en apagar el ahumador. Para ello, cavar un peque\u00f1o pozo, volcar las cenizas dentro y despu\u00e9s echar agua. Por \u00faltimo, cubrir con tierra para evitar incendios.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Recomendaciones de manejo:<\/strong><br>* Ubicar los apiarios en lugares con sombra, sobre todo en los horarios de temperaturas m\u00e1s altas.<br>* Evitar instalar los apiarios expuestos al sol y rodeados de cortinas vegetales que impidan la circulaci\u00f3n del viento. Mantener la circulaci\u00f3n de aire para facilitar la ventilaci\u00f3n de las colonias.<br>* Proveer al apiario de agua limpia y en un lugar de f\u00e1cil acceso para las abejas. Para ello, instalar bebederos comunitarios por apiarios o directamente administrar agua en el alimentador. La evaporaci\u00f3n del agua, junto con la circulaci\u00f3n de aire que generan las abejas, extrae el calor del interior de la colmena.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Recomendaciones de manejo en las colmenas:<\/strong><br>* Elevar las colmenas al menos 40 cm del suelo para favorecer la circulaci\u00f3n de aire y mantener el pasto corto.<br>* Que las colmenas tengan techos de madera de al menos 2 cm de espesor y que cuenten con entre-tapas que ayuden amortiguar el efecto del sol y mejoren la aislaci\u00f3n t\u00e9rmica.<br>* El material inerte (alzas, pisos, techos y medias alzas) debe estar pintado de color blanco para reflejar la luz del sol y que la colmena absorba menos radiaci\u00f3n.<br>* Mudar los n\u00facleos a un lugar sombreado y con disponibilidad de agua. No olvidarse de alimentarlos para mantenerlos con energ\u00eda suficiente para su desarrollo.<br>* El cumplimiento de estas pautas ayudar\u00e1 a mitigar los efectos de la ola de calor y a reducir las p\u00e9rdidas de colmenas.
