{"id":1857,"date":"2008-04-21T15:58:31","date_gmt":"2008-04-21T13:58:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.sabado100.com.ar\/?p=1857"},"modified":"2026-05-04T19:19:23","modified_gmt":"2026-05-04T19:19:23","slug":"el-rafaelino-omar-corrado-gano-premio-de-musicologia","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sabado100.com.ar\/es-ar\/el-rafaelino-omar-corrado-gano-premio-de-musicologia\/","title":{"rendered":"El rafaelino Omar Corrado gan\u00f3 un premio de musicolog\u00eda"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Por Emilio Grande (h.).-<\/strong> El investigador y profesor universitario argentino Omar Corrado gan\u00f3 el Premio de Musicolog\u00eda Casa de las Am\u00e9ricas 2008 por su ensayo \u00abVanguardias al sur: la m\u00fasica de Juan Carlos Paz\u00bb, informaron este s\u00e1bado medios locales de la ciudad de La Habana (capital de Cuba), cuya noticia la difundi\u00f3 la agencia AFP-NA.<br \/>\nCorrado, de 53 a\u00f1os, se impuso en el certamen que Casa de las Am\u00e9ricas cre\u00f3 en 1979, y en el que concursaron esta vez 19 obras de siete pa\u00edses, se\u00f1al\u00f3 la agencia cubana Prensa Latina (PL).<br \/>\n\u00abEstaba durmiendo y unos amigos me despertaron anoche (por anteanoche) para darme la noticia. En realidad, particip\u00e9 porque me lo sugirieron y mand\u00e9 esta investigaci\u00f3n para ver qu\u00e9 pasaba, sin grandes expectativas porque nunca gano nada, pero el jurado fue muy generoso\u00bb, expres\u00f3 con la humildad que lo caracteriza ante la consulta de este cronista.<br \/>\nA decir verdad, se trata del premio m\u00e1s importante de Am\u00e9rica Latina en la materia y Corrado hab\u00eda integrado el jurado en 2001. Su objetivo primario era que lo que publicara el Fondo Nacional de las Artes, pero nunca se concret\u00f3.<br \/>\nLa base de este trabajo premiado fue la tesis doctoral en musicolog\u00eda titulada \u00abJuan Carlos Paz (1897-1972): la obra musical\u00bb escrita en 1985 en la Universidad Par\u00eds 4 Sorbona.<br \/>\n\u00abLa estructura es similar, pero tuve que traducirla del franc\u00e9s al espa\u00f1ol, pero se agregaron otros enfoques te\u00f3ricos, m\u00e1s informaci\u00f3n y documentaci\u00f3n, totalizando unas 350 p\u00e1ginas distribuidas en 14 cap\u00edtulos\u00bb, agreg\u00f3.<br \/>\nAl fundamentar el premio, el jurado destac\u00f3 \u00abel impecable manejo del oficio musicol\u00f3gico y el aporte del autor a una narrativa hist\u00f3rica de las vanguardias musicales de la regi\u00f3n, desde el an\u00e1lisis del sujeto creador y la producci\u00f3n de una importante figura de la m\u00fasica argentina y latinoamericana del siglo XX\u00bb, a\u00f1adi\u00f3.<br \/>\nPaz (1897-1972) fue m\u00fasico, compositor, cr\u00edtico y difusor de la m\u00fasica del siglo XX, y es considerado el padre de la vanguardia musical argentina.<br \/>\nEl jurado que le otorg\u00f3 a Corrado el premio, que consiste en la publicaci\u00f3n del ensayo y 3.000 d\u00f3lares, estuvo integrado por los music\u00f3logos Egberto Berm\u00fadez (Colombia), Consuelo Carredano (M\u00e9xico), Agust\u00edn Ruiz (Chile), Lino Neira (Cuba), y Mar\u00eda Elena Vinueza (Ecuador\/Cuba).<br \/>\nHay que decir que Omar Corrado se recibi\u00f3 como profesor nacional de m\u00fasica en la Universidad Nacional del Litoral (UNL) y continu\u00f3 su carrera en Par\u00eds donde realiz\u00f3 una maestr\u00eda y un doctorado. \u00abViv\u00ed unos 3 a\u00f1os, pero volv\u00ed al pa\u00eds para buscar las fuentes bibliogr\u00e1ficas\u00bb, dijo.<br \/>\nActualmente, es profesor titular regular de la Facultad de Filosof\u00eda y Letras de la Universidad de Buenos Aires (UBA), en la Facultad de Humanidades y Artes de la Universidad Nacional de Rosario (UNR), y en la Universidad Cat\u00f3lica Argentina (UCA).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Fue por su ensayo \u00abVanguardias al sur: la m\u00fasica de Juan Carlos Paz\u00bb.
