Celeste Schierano fue seleccionada para ingresar a la Carrera del Investigador Cient\u00edfico (CIC) de CONICET. Esta carrera tiene por objeto favorecer la plena y permanente dedicaci\u00f3n de los investigadores a la labor cient\u00edfica y tecnol\u00f3gica original, estimular&nbsp;las \u00e1reas que sean de inter\u00e9s nacional y fomentar la transferencia de los resultados de la investigaci\u00f3n a la sociedad. Para poder acceder al organismo, los aspirantes son evaluados por comisiones asesoras que analizan los antecedentes de cada postulante y recomiendan o no la incorporaci\u00f3n de cada uno de ellos a la Carrera y elaboran un Orden de M\u00e9rito, ya que los cupos de ingreso por a\u00f1o son limitados. En 2021, de m\u00e1s de 2500 postulantes, s\u00f3lo 820 lograron ingresar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Celeste es ingeniera industrial, graduada de UTN Facultad Regional Rafaela. Mientras cursaba su carrera, accedi\u00f3 a una beca de investigaci\u00f3n para estudiantes. Ya como ingeniera, logra una beca doctoral (2014-2018) de CONICET. Sus estudios se basaron en la aplicaci\u00f3n de humedales o wetlands construidos para el tratamiento de efluentes de tambos e industrias l\u00e1cteas. Una nueva beca otorgada por CONICET, en este caso por el t\u00e9rmino de dos a\u00f1os m\u00e1s, le permiti\u00f3 hacer un Post-Doctorado y continuar especializ\u00e1ndose.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A lo largo de su trayectoria como docente investigadora de la Casa, ejerce la docencia en la asignatura Saneamiento y Medio Ambiente. Tambi\u00e9n public\u00f3 trabajos en revistas internacionales y nacionales de alto impacto y 34 ponencias en Congresos nacionales e Internacionales, dentro y fuera del pa\u00eds, que le permitieron profundizar su expertise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Su lugar de trabajo continuar\u00e1 siendo esta Facultad Regional Rafaela. La Secretar\u00eda de Ciencia y Tecnolog\u00eda y toda la Facultad en su conjunto felicitan a la Dra. Schierano por sus logros obtenidos y conf\u00edan en que sea un ejemplo para otros estudiantes que deseen optar por la labor cient\u00edfica.
